The demand for live sheep qurban in Singapore has always exceeded the supply. While doing qurban in other countries has given the Singaporeans the opportunity to fulfil their Ibadaah, the main drawback has been that they are unable to consume the qurban meat and donate to their relatives and needy in Singapore.

In 2012, and for the first time in Singapore, the Muslim community was able to get their qurban meat directly from Australia. This was a maiden Qurban project by A2A Trading Pte Ltd. In 2013 lamb and in 2015 cattle were added to the Qurban animal choices.
